Dublin and Wicklow Loyal Orange Lodge 1313 would like to express our warmest congratulations to HRH Prince William and Princess Catherine on this their wedding day.
We are proud that as Colonel of the Regiment, Prince William wore the uniform of the Irish Guards. This is a great honour to the Regiment and a sign of respect to the Irish people.
We are also delighted that HM the Queen has revived the title of Baron of Carrickfergus and bestowed it upon her grandson. This is a sign of the ties, which continue to link the island of Ireland with the House of Windsor.
May God richly bless the Royal Couple in the days and weeks that lie ahead, and prepare their hearts and minds for that day when, God willing, they will be King William V and Queen Catherine. God save the Queen!
